Picking between iGaming affiliate platforms is one of the few platform decisions that is hard to undo. Every tracking link, postback, commission plan and payment history your affiliates rely on lives inside it, and a bad pick shows up months later as disputed statements, missing FTDs and partners quietly sending traffic elsewhere.
The short answer: the most widely used iGaming affiliate platforms in 2026 are Cellxpert, NetRefer, MyAffiliates, Affilka by SOFTSWISS and Income Access, with ReferOn, PartnerMatrix, Track360, RavenTrack, Scaleo, Alanbase and IREV as strong options for specific operator profiles. Which one fits you depends less on feature lists and more on three things: how the platform calculates NGR, how it handles negative carryover, and whether it can enforce the affiliate rules of the markets you hold licences in.
This guide compares twelve platforms on the criteria operators actually decide on, shows a worked NGR and carryover example, sets out what the software costs, maps 2026 regulatory requirements to software features, and lists what you should check before signing. If you want the commercial model itself (deal types, how affiliates earn and how programs are run), start with our explainer on how iGaming affiliate marketing works; this page is the vendor comparison.
Everything here comes from each vendor’s own documentation, announcements and case studies, third-party review sites like G2 and Capterra, independent market data from StatsDrone, and primary regulatory texts, and none of the vendors paid to be included.

Prices were checked on 11 October 2026. Where a figure comes from a third-party listing rather than the vendor’s own site, it is labelled. Treat every number as a starting point for negotiation, not a quote.
Feature matrix: what each platform documents publicly
“Yes” means the vendor documents the feature on its own site or in official material. “Partial” means a related capability is documented but not the full feature. “Not stated” means we could not find public documentation, which does not prove the feature is missing. Ask for it in your demo.
| Platform | S2S / API tracking | Configurable NGR | Carryover controls | Sub-affiliates | Built-in payouts | Crypto payouts | Pre-payout hold | Affiliate KYC | Public pricing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cellxpert | Yes | Yes | Partial | Yes | Partial | Not stated | Yes | Yes | No |

| IREV | Yes | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated | Partial | Not stated | Not stated | Partial | Partial |
The pattern is clear: most vendors document tracking and commission models well, but very few publish how they handle negative carryover, pre-payout holds or affiliate KYC. Those are exactly the features that decide disputes and compliance outcomes, so they belong at the top of your demo script.
What an iGaming affiliate platform has to do
An iGaming affiliate platform is the system an operator uses to track players sent by affiliates, calculate what each affiliate is owed, and pay them. Generic affiliate tools built for e-commerce struggle in gambling because a referred player is not a one-time sale. The value of that player keeps changing every month, and can turn negative.
That creates four jobs a gambling-grade platform must do well:
- Deep-funnel tracking. Clicks and registrations are easy. The hard part is attributing first-time deposits (FTDs) and monthly revenue from your PAM back to the right affiliate, usually through server-to-server (S2S) postbacks or a data feed rather than browser cookies. If you are unsure how your player account management system exposes that data, our guide to what a PAM is in iGaming explains the moving parts.
- Commission logic. CPA, RevShare and hybrid deals, tiers, baselines, sub-affiliate chains, per-brand and per-GEO rules, and how negative revenue is treated.
- Fraud and quality control. Spotting bonus abuse, duplicate accounts and incentivised traffic before you pay a CPA, not after.
- Compliance evidence. Regulators in the UK, Ontario, Brazil, the Netherlands and several US states hold the operator responsible for what affiliates publish. Your software is where you prove you checked.
Affiliate platform vs affiliate program vs affiliate network
Search results for this topic mix three different things, so it helps to separate them before you shortlist:
- Affiliate platform (software): the tracking, commission and payout system an operator licenses to run its own program. Everything on this list is a platform.
- Affiliate program: an operator’s partner offer (its brands, deals and terms), which runs on a platform. Affiliates looking for the best-paying program are comparing deals, not software.
- Affiliate network: an intermediary that aggregates many operators’ offers for affiliates and takes a margin. Networks often use performance trackers such as IREV or Alanbase themselves.
Operators choose a platform; affiliates choose programs. If you run a network, the “best for” lines for IREV and Alanbase are the most relevant to you.
How NGR and negative carryover change what you pay
Most RevShare deals are paid on net gaming revenue (NGR), not gross. No regulator defines NGR for affiliate purposes. It is a contract term, which is exactly why platforms that let you configure the deduction stack per brand and per market matter so much.
A typical NGR calculation looks like this:
NGR = GGR (stakes minus winnings) โ bonuses โ gaming taxes and duties โ payment fees โ chargebacks โ any agreed admin or platform fee
Worked example: one affiliate, one month
Assumptions: the players referred by one affiliate generate โฌ20,000 GGR in a month. The contract is 35% RevShare on NGR.
| Line | Amount |
|---|---|
| GGR | โฌ20,000 |
| Bonus cost | โโฌ4,000 |
| Gaming tax (assumed 15% of GGR) | โโฌ3,000 |
| Payment fees | โโฌ800 |
| Admin fee (assumed 5% of GGR) | โโฌ1,000 |
| NGR | โฌ11,200 |
| Commission at 35% | โฌ3,920 |
Change one deduction rule, for example whether bonuses are deducted when granted or when wagered, and the commission moves by hundreds of euros per affiliate per month. Multiply that across a program and you see why vague NGR definitions cause most affiliate disputes.
Worked example: negative carryover over two months
Negative carryover means a negative NGR balance in one period rolls forward and is netted against future earnings until it is cleared. Assume the same 35% deal:
| Month 1 NGR | Month 2 NGR | Month 2 commission with carryover | Month 2 commission with monthly reset | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Affiliate A | โโฌ8,000 (a high roller wins big) | +โฌ10,000 | โฌ700 (35% of โฌ2,000) | โฌ3,500 (35% of โฌ10,000) |
One rule produces a fivefold difference in what the affiliate receives. Many affiliate programs now advertise “no negative carryover” to win partners, so your platform must support carryover, monthly reset, per-brand or per-product carryover, and caps, and it must show the affiliate exactly which rule was applied. Ask every vendor to run this exact scenario in a demo.
Why sportsbook programs are harder to calculate
Sportsbook RevShare adds problems casino programs rarely face. Bets placed in one month can settle in the next, so the platform needs a clear rule on which period a settled bet belongs to. Free bet and boost costs need their own deduction lines, and a single big accumulator win can push an affiliate negative for months. If you run a sportsbook, ask each vendor how it attributes open bets at month end and whether sportsbook and casino carryover can be kept separate for the same affiliate.
How this list was built
We started from the vendors that appear in the current Google results, Google’s AI Overview and independent market data, then checked each one against the same criteria:
- Tracking and integration: S2S postbacks, APIs, data feeds and documented PAM or platform integrations.
- Commission flexibility: CPA, RevShare, hybrid, tiers, sub-affiliates, configurable NGR and carryover handling.
- Fraud and compliance tooling: pre-payout holds, affiliate KYC, creative and traffic audits, geo controls.
- Payments and finance: built-in payouts, invoicing, multi-currency and crypto support.
- Pricing transparency: whether pricing is published and what model it uses.
- Evidence of operator adoption: named clients, renewals and third-party reviews.
Sources checked: each vendor’s website, product pages, FAQs and press announcements; G2, Capterra and Trustpilot; StatsDrone market data as reported in 2024 and 2026; and trade coverage from iGaming Business, SBC News, Yogonet and iGamingFuture. We did not run hands-on tests, and no vendor reviewed this article before publication. If you run an offshore or crypto-first brand, the “best for” lines matter more than the rank.
How the ranking was decided
The order reflects fit for licensed operators running regulated affiliate programs. Each platform was graded on the strength of public evidence for five weighted criteria: compliance and fraud tooling (30%), commission and NGR logic (25%), tracking and integrations (20%), evidence of operator adoption (15%) and pricing transparency (10%). “Strong” means detailed public documentation backed by third-party sources or named regulated clients, “Documented” means the vendor documents it, and “Limited” means little or no public detail.
| # | Platform | Compliance and fraud (30%) | Commission and NGR (25%) | Tracking and integrations (20%) | Operator adoption (15%) | Pricing transparency (10%) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Cellxpert | Strong | Strong | Strong | Documented | Limited |
| 2 | PartnerMatrix | Documented | Strong | Strong | Documented | Limited |
| 3 | Affilka | Limited | Strong | Strong | Strong | Documented |
| 4 | NetRefer | Documented | Documented | Strong | Strong | Limited |
| 5 | ReferOn | Documented | Strong | Documented | Documented | Documented |
| 6 | Scaleo | Documented | Documented | Strong | Limited | Strong |
| 7 | Track360 | Documented | Documented | Documented | Documented | Limited |
| 8 | MyAffiliates | Limited | Documented | Documented | Strong | Limited |
| 9 | RavenTrack | Documented | Limited | Documented | Documented | Documented |
| 10 | Income Access | Limited | Limited | Documented | Strong | Limited |
| 11 | Alanbase | Limited | Limited | Documented | Limited | Strong |
| 12 | IREV | Limited | Limited | Limited | Documented | Limited |
Where grades are close, operator adoption in regulated markets decided the order. Vendors can change a grade by publishing the missing documentation; we update this table when they do.
Two results deserve a note. MyAffiliates and Income Access are among the most widely used platforms in the industry, yet they sit lower here because far less of their product is publicly documented than their rivals’. That is a statement about what an operator can verify before a sales call, not a verdict on the software itself, and both are worth a demo if their “best for” profile matches yours.
On market share, StatsDrone’s data shows MyAffiliates and Affilka trading the top position by number of affiliate programs. A January 2026 snapshot put MyAffiliates first, while an April 2026 analysis of 2,576 programs, reported by Affilka, put Affilka first with 379 programs. StatsDrone counts programs it tracks, which skews toward offshore and crypto brands, so it measures popularity among affiliate programs rather than among tier-1 regulated operators.
The 12 best iGaming affiliate platforms reviewed
1. Cellxpert

Cellxpert is an affiliate, partner and introducing-broker platform used across regulated iGaming and online trading. Of the platforms reviewed, it documents the most complete set of pre-payout fraud and compliance controls.
- Best for: regulated operators that need to stop paying for bad traffic before payout, and groups running both gambling and trading brands.
- Tracking: per-affiliate and per-event S2S postbacks that can be tested and refired, pixel tracking with validation, affiliate API, AppsFlyer integration.
- Commissions: CPA with custom baselines, RevShare by tier, GEO or product, hybrid deals with decay rules, a configurable NGR engine and multi-level sub-affiliate hierarchies.
- Fraud and compliance: Auto Quarantine holds suspicious traffic before payout and can isolate high-roller activity so one player does not wipe out an affiliate’s commission. Also affiliate KYC, GDPR consent, geo controls and an audit trail for marketing compliance.
- Operations: 99.9% SLA, monthly releases, and a 4 to 6 week migration using a click proxy so existing affiliate links keep working (vendor claims).
- Clients (vendor claim): 800+ brands, including Betway, 888 Bet and 10bet.
- Pricing: quote only.
- What users say: Capterra 4.8/5 from 4 reviews. Reviewers praise support, ease of use and granular real-time reports, and mention a learning curve and less flexible charts. Most of those reviews date from 2018, so ask for current operator references.
- Watch for: HQ and ownership are not disclosed on the vendor site, and public iGaming case studies are fewer than the client count suggests.
2. PartnerMatrix

PartnerMatrix is the affiliate platform of EveryMatrix Group, based in Malta. It pairs a full affiliate system with an agent module for markets where offline agents drive acquisition.
- Best for: operators on the EveryMatrix stack, and LatAm, African or Asian operators that run agent networks alongside affiliates.
- Tracking: cookieless S2S postbacks, API and FTP feeds.
- Commissions: standard or tiered RevShare and CPA, mixed and tiered hybrid deals, unlimited tiers, and plans per affiliate, sub-affiliate, product and brand.
- Payments and add-ons: automated or manual payouts through MoneyMatrix, and PartnerMatrix Intelligence, which scans affiliate sites. A dedicated account manager is included.

- Pricing: quote only, with a setup fee.

- What reviewers say: independent reviewer Partnerkin scores it 7.5/10, praising built-in payouts, multi-brand control and cross-brand duplicate detection. It flags no pre-payout quarantine, no affiliate KYC module and the 15-minute data refresh as gaps.
- Watch for: weaker fit for US or UK tier-1 operators that need heavy compliance workflows.
4. NetRefer

NetRefer was founded in 2005 and is based in Malta. It is one of the longest-running affiliate platforms built only for iGaming, and its client list leans heavily toward large regulated operators.

- What customers say (from NetRefer’s site): the strongest signal is retention. Casumo, SuprNation, Solverde.pt and VERSUSbet all announced renewals in 2026, and NetRefer reports 100% uptime on 1.1 billion ingested requests in August 2026.
- Watch for: no public pricing, and newer competitors position it as a legacy option, so test UI and release cadence in your demo.
5. ReferOn

- What users say: G2 4.8/5 from 23 reviews and Capterra 4.8/5 from 31 reviews. Users praise support, ease of use and value. Complaints include missing features such as auto-invoicing in older versions and limited customisation. Many reviewers are outside iGaming.
- Watch for: not built only for gambling, so test NGR and carryover logic with your own data before committing.
7. Track360

Track360 is a bootstrapped affiliate platform founded in 2017, with development teams in Israel and Ukraine. It serves iGaming alongside forex and prop trading, which makes it a natural fit for groups that run more than one vertical.

- Tracking: S2S tracking and custom postbacks for FTD, deposit, qualification and custom events, with test tools and logs. Every report is available by API, and the vendor cites 1 to 2 minute data latency.
- Integrations: named iGaming platforms include Phoenix365, GamingSoft, BetOxygen, Timeless Tech and LaCasa, plus 24Metrics and AppsFlyer.
- Commissions: CPA, RevShare, hybrid and tiered deals per partner, NGR-based RevShare with custom NGR calculation, a RevShare fallback inside CPA deals, split and stacked commissions, and multi-level sub-affiliates. Negative carryover handling is not documented publicly.
- Payments and fraud: built-in batch payouts through the operator’s own payment providers, crypto payouts in USDT, USDC and BTC, click-level bot detection, FTD qualification rules, and holds on single payouts or whole batches before they are released.
- Clients (vendor claim): 200+ brands in 50+ countries, including Marabet, ZinoCasino, ZangaBet and BetKore, plus forex brands such as AvaTrade.
- Pricing: one all-inclusive plan priced by brands and partner volume, monthly contracts, a free first month and free migration. Capterra lists a starting price of $500 per user per month; confirm with the vendor.
- What users say: Capterra 5.0/5 from 3 reviews. Reviewers praise flexibility, payout automation and responsive support, and mention a learning curve and a dated interface that the vendor says it is redesigning.
- Watch for: the client base leans toward forex, affiliate KYC is not documented, and independent reviews are few. Ask for an iGaming reference on your platform.
8. MyAffiliates

MyAffiliates was founded by Steven Harris in Brisbane, Australia, with a Malta office since 2015. It is one of the most widely used affiliate systems by number of programs, which matters because affiliates already know how to use it.
- Best for: mid-size and multi-brand casino and poker operators that want a proven platform with low affiliate onboarding friction.
- Tracking: real-time, multi-tier and multi-channel tracking.
- Commissions: RevShare, tiered RevShare, CPA, qualified CPA, hybrid and affiliate-specific rules.
- Multi-brand: “umbrella” setup for running several brands under one program, multi-currency and multi-language, with media hosting and Bannerflow integration.

- Pricing: one-time setup fee plus a monthly fee. Figures are quote only.
- What customers say (from MyAffiliates’ site): its case studies lean on tenure, with PAF using the platform for more than ten years and 300 clients onboarded by 2024.
- Watch for: public documentation on API depth, fraud tooling and carryover handling is thin, so ask for these in writing.
9. RavenTrack

RavenTrack is a UK-supported affiliate platform built around hands-on account management, migrations and compliance tooling for regulated brands.
- Best for: UK and regulated-market operators that want close support more than self-serve configuration.
- Tracking: tracked links with dynamic parameters, parallel tracking, pixel support, an affiliate-facing API and two-way API integration.
- Program management: terms at program and brand level, a dedicated compliance area, migrations, training and bespoke development.
- Clients (vendor claim): Betfred, MrQ, Bet9ja, Novibet, Yajuego and Merkur XTip, with 150+ brands and 40,000+ affiliates. Matchbook moved its affiliate program to RavenTrack in November 2025.
- Pricing: listed from ยฃ1,000 per month, usage-based, on Capterra. Quote only on the vendor site.
- What users say: Capterra 5.0 from 3 reviews, praising the interface, onboarding and responsive support, with a learning curve noted. On RavenTrack’s site, Betfred says its program has gone “from strength to strength” and MrQ calls the platform “a breath of fresh air”.
- Watch for: commission and fraud features are less publicly documented than larger rivals, so request a full feature matrix.
10. Income Access

Income Access has run affiliate technology since 2002 and has been part of Paysafe since a C$40 million acquisition in 2016. It is the only platform here that pairs software with fully managed affiliate programs and an in-house agency.
- Best for: US-state and tier-1 regulated operators that want to outsource program management, and brands already using Paysafe payment products.
- Features: online and retail (offline) tracking, multi-channel attribution and integrated affiliate payments. Agency services cover paid media, SEO, ASO, social and content for sportsbook, casino, poker, lottery and sweepstakes.
- Clients (vendor claim): BetRivers, Caesars, FanDuel and Hard Rock, the strongest US footprint in this list.
- Pricing: quote only.
- What users say: Capterra 4.5/5 from 15 reviews, 90% recommend. Reviewers, mostly affiliates rather than operators, praise account managers and reporting depth. Recurring complaints are inconsistent reporting across brands and an interface that has changed little in years.
- Watch for: slower visible product cadence than newer platforms. Paysafe was reported in February 2025 to be exploring a sale, so check contract terms for change of control.
11. Alanbase

Alanbase is a performance-marketing tracker with iGaming presets, popular with CPA networks and operators in Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets.
- Best for: budget-conscious operators and media-buying teams running CPA-heavy programs.
- Tracking: pixel, postback with click and transaction IDs, promo codes and custom events.

- Reporting and payouts: cohort analysis, currency conversion for stats and payouts, two-click payouts, raw-data API and role-based access. The vendor advertises integration within 24 hours.
- Clients (vendor claim): 4rabet, Betera and Rajbet, plus partner programs such as Glory Partners.
- Pricing: from $490 per month on the vendor site, with 7% off six-month and 15% off annual billing and a 14-day trial. Third-party listings show conflicting tiers, so confirm directly.
- What customers say (from Alanbase’s site): 4rabet praises cohort analysis and access management, and Profit House describes a smooth migration.
- Watch for: NGR, sub-affiliate and carryover handling are not documented publicly, which matters for RevShare-led programs.
12. IREV

IREV combines a partner platform with lead distribution, which is why it is popular with affiliate networks and performance-marketing teams working in iGaming and online trading. Third-party sources place it in Limassol, Cyprus, with a 2019 founding date.
- Best for: affiliate networks, media-buying teams and operators that need lead distribution and a partner platform in one tool.
- Tracking: postback and API integrations with real-time tracking and raw-data exports. The vendor claims capacity of up to 2 million clicks per hour per client and 99.5% uptime.
- Commissions and payouts: custom commission logic, flexible payment models, automated CRG calculation and payout management. CPA, RevShare, NGR and carryover rules are not spelled out publicly.
- Fraud and security: fraud prevention through “smart baselines” and payout baselines, plus two-factor authentication, KYC and GDPR compliance listed on the site.
- Clients (vendor claim): Exness, OX Tech, Rainmaker and Play Partners. Its case studies claim 3.5x more FTDs in six months for Play Partners and $1 million to $3 million in discrepancy losses prevented for OX Tech.
- Pricing: quote only. The site shows a calculator based on a percentage of turnover, with free onboarding.
- What users say: Trustpilot 3.4/5 from 1 review, which calls it good software but expensive. Vendor testimonials from OX Tech and Exness praise support, reporting clarity and traffic quality.
- Watch for: it is not documented as an NGR-first operator platform and lists no PAM integrations, so test RevShare logic carefully before using it for a casino program.
Other platforms worth knowing
- Smartico (TheAffiliatePlatform): an affiliate module from the gamification CRM vendor, which Optimove agreed to acquire in April 2026. Most relevant if you already run Smartico.
- Tracknow: an affiliate platform that publishes pricing from $499 per month for one brand (vendor site, September 2026). It also publishes its own comparison of iGaming affiliate software in which it ranks itself first.
- Affise and Trackier: performance-marketing trackers with iGaming lines, better suited to networks and media buyers than RevShare-heavy operator programs.
- Platform-bundled modules: BetConstruct and several turnkey providers include affiliate tools. They can be enough at launch but tie your affiliate data to your platform contract. Our guide to the best casino software providers covers that trade-off.
How much does iGaming affiliate software cost?
Most vendors only quote on request, but enough public figures exist to set a budget range. These are entry prices for a single brand, before setup, extra brands or volume overage.
| Platform | Published or listed starting price | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Alanbase | From $490/month | Vendor site |
| RavenTrack | From ยฃ1,000/month, usage-based | Capterra listing |
| Scaleo | โฌ1,600/month (Scale), from โฌ2,400/month (Custom), +โฌ500 per extra brand | Vendor site |
| ReferOn | From โฌ2,000/month, flat rate | Capterra listing |
| Affilka | From โฌ2,500/month, no setup fee | Partnerkin, August 2026 |
| Cellxpert, NetRefer, MyAffiliates, PartnerMatrix, Income Access, IREV, Track360 | Quote only | Vendor sites |
Pricing models matter as much as the headline figure. You will see four: a flat monthly subscription (NetRefer says it charges no revenue-share or usage fees), per-brand plans (Scaleo), usage or volume-based plans (RavenTrack on Capterra) and a percentage of turnover (IREV’s calculator). Percentage models are cheap at launch and expensive at scale, so model the cost at your year-three volumes, not your launch volumes, and add setup fees, per-brand fees and any migration charges.
Build or buy?
A few large groups run in-house affiliate systems, but for most operators buying is the better call. An in-house build has to replicate S2S tracking, a configurable NGR engine, carryover rules, sub-affiliate chains, payouts, affiliate KYC and per-market compliance controls, then keep all of it current as regulation changes. Building tends to make sense only when you run a very large program with deal logic no vendor supports, and you have a dedicated engineering team to maintain it. Even then, test the vendors in this list against your edge cases first.
What 2026 regulation means for your affiliate software
Most comparison pages for this topic treat compliance as a single paragraph. In practice, the markets you operate in decide which features are mandatory. Here is what the regulators actually require and the software capability each rule implies.
| Market | Rule | What your platform must support |
|---|---|---|
| Great Britain | LCCP 1.1.2 makes operators responsible for third parties, and contracts must allow prompt termination of affiliates that breach advertising codes. LCCP 16.1.1 covers ad placement on infringing sites. Since 19 January 2026, bonus wagering is capped at 10x and mixed-product promotions are banned. | Contract and termination records, creative approval and fast takedown, offer content that can be updated across all affiliates at once |
| Ontario | AGCO Standards 2.05 to 2.07 ban public inducement advertising. Standard 2.03 bans athletes and celebrities likely to appeal to minors. Standard 1.21 requires operators to check that commission-paid affiliates do not also promote unregistered sites. | Geo-specific creative rules, affiliate vetting and site monitoring, influencer flags |
| Brazil | Portaria SPA/MF 1.231/2024 makes operators jointly liable for affiliate advertising and requires written contracts in Portuguese that set out compensation criteria. July 2026 rules require the affiliate chain to verify and display the operator’s authorisation details. | Contract storage per affiliate, display of licence metadata, audit trail of compensation terms |
| Netherlands | The KSA confirmed in February 2026 that influencers and streamers fall under the role-model ban. | Affiliate type classification and the ability to suspend categories of partner |
| Massachusetts and Illinois (sports betting) | Massachusetts has barred revenue-share deals with sports wagering affiliates since its 2023 rule change. Illinois bars marketing agreements where compensation depends on the volume or outcome of wagers (11 Ill. Adm. Code 1900.340(f)). CPA and flat fees remain the usual structures. | Per-state deal controls that block RevShare plans in restricted states |
| Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey | RevShare affiliates need a supplier licence or certification. Flat-fee affiliates typically need lighter registration. | Licence tracking per affiliate per state, with payment holds if a licence lapses |
Primary sources: the UK Gambling Commission’s LCCP condition 1.1.2, the AGCO’s Registrar’s Standards for Internet Gaming (updated May 2026), and 205 CMR 256 in Massachusetts. For the full GB licensing picture, including how third-party responsibility fits into it, see our UKGC licence guide. Brazil’s Portaria SPA/MF 1.231/2024 and Illinois rule 11 Ill. Adm. Code 1900.340 can be found on the official government sites.
Two common myths worth correcting. Brazil has not banned RevShare; its affiliate definition explicitly contemplates pay based on deposits or spend, though a review of affiliate advertising rules is on the 2026 to 2027 regulatory agenda. And no Ontario rule requires every marketing affiliate to register; the AGCO decides supplier registration case by case.
How to choose an iGaming affiliate platform
Use this decision rule as a starting point:
- Tier-1 regulated, multi-market, compliance-heavy: shortlist Cellxpert, NetRefer and Income Access.
- Multi-brand casino group, affiliate familiarity matters most: shortlist MyAffiliates and Affilka.
- Crypto or offshore brands with many currencies: shortlist Affilka and ReferOn.
- On EveryMatrix or running agent networks: start with PartnerMatrix.
- Group running casino plus forex or prop trading brands: look at Track360.
- Affiliate network or media-buying team that also distributes leads: look at IREV.
- UK-led program that values hands-on support: look at RavenTrack.
- New or mid-size operator on a fixed budget: compare Scaleo and Alanbase, then confirm their NGR and carryover logic fits RevShare deals.
Questions to ask in every demo
- Run our worked NGR example and the two-month carryover scenario live. Can each deduction be configured per brand and per market?
- Which PAMs and casino platforms do you have a live, production integration with, and can we speak to an operator on ours?
- Can you hold commission for review before payout, and what fraud signals trigger that hold? (Our iGaming fraud detection guide lists the signals worth asking about.)
- Can deal types be blocked per jurisdiction, for example RevShare in Massachusetts or Illinois sports betting?
- How do you store affiliate contracts, licences and creative approvals for audit?
- What payout rails do you support, including crypto, and how do they connect to our payment stack?
- What is the full cost over three years, including setup, per-brand fees, overage and price increases?
- Who owns the data, and in what format can we export all affiliate, player-level and payment history if we leave?
Migrating affiliate platforms without losing partners
Vendors quote 4 to 6 weeks for a migration. The technical move is rarely what hurts; affiliate trust is. Protect it with these steps:
- Keep links alive. Use a click proxy or redirect layer so every existing tracking link and postback keeps working. Ask the new vendor to prove this in staging.
- Migrate balances, not just accounts. Carry over unpaid commission, negative balances and deal terms per affiliate, and reconcile totals before go-live.
- Run both systems in parallel for at least one full commission cycle and compare statements line by line.
- Tell affiliates early. Give at least 30 days’ notice, a migration FAQ and a named contact. Unexplained statement changes are the fastest way to lose your top partners.
- Freeze deal changes during the cut-over month so any discrepancy can be traced to the migration, not a renegotiation.
Red flags when evaluating affiliate software
- The vendor cannot show NGR and carryover calculations step by step for a single affiliate.
- Commission corrections overwrite history instead of creating an audit trail.
- Your contract does not guarantee a full data export on termination.
- Pricing is tied to a percentage of your revenue with no cap, so costs scale faster than value.
- The affiliate platform is bundled with your casino platform and cannot be separated if you change PAM.
- No per-jurisdiction controls for deal types, creatives or affiliate licences in the markets you hold licences in.
- Comparison content from a vendor that ranks itself first without stating its scoring method. Several pages currently ranking for this topic are written by vendors listing themselves at number one.
Next steps
Shortlist three platforms from the decision rule above, send each the same demo script and worked examples, and compare written answers rather than slide decks. Once your program is live, the work shifts to affiliate acquisition and content quality, which our iGaming SEO guide covers from the operator side.
