Editorial and Corrections Policy

This policy explains how iGamingFirms sources facts, keeps them current, corrects mistakes and protects its editorial independence.

Sourcing

Our guides are built from observable, verifiable sources: licence registers published by issuing jurisdictions, corporate records where filings are public, company disclosures, legislation and trade press. Sources are linked where we use them, and every guide carries an updated date.

We prefer primary sources. A regulator’s register beats a company’s claim about its licence, and a law or official notice beats a news report about it. Trade press is used for events and context, not as the only source for a figure.

Dates and updates

Regulation, licences, fees and company ownership change often. Every guide shows when it was last updated, and time-sensitive facts such as licence status or tax rates are tied to the date we checked them.

Unverified facts

Where a fact cannot be verified we say so rather than estimating it. We never publish an invented licence number, ownership chain, review or regulatory action.

Corrections

Send the correction and the source through our contact page. Verified corrections are applied within five working days, and the page’s updated date changes when we do.

Independence: no sponsored content or paid links

Rankings and research are never sponsored, and companies cannot pay to change what we write about them. iGamingFirms does not accept guest posts, sponsored articles, advertorials, link insertions or link exchanges, and we are not part of any guest-post or link-selling network. All content is written and commissioned by our own editorial team.

Gambling content

iGamingFirms writes for businesses. We do not promote gambling to consumers, publish betting tips or link to operators as calls to action. Legal guides describe the law as it stands on the date shown and are not legal advice.
